A feeder is a card that you don't care about that is used for Enhancing other cards. (the short simple definition)
-These cards are generally weak cards obtained from quests and usually are obtained at the cost of minimal stamina. (Example: Quest Chapter 2; each quest requires 1 stamina per attack/creature ultimately resulting in only 3 stamina to obtain 1 feeder)
-Feeders can also be High Normals without a skill which will usually provide more maturity(the % amount towards your card's next level) than your standard Normal Feeders.
-Some feeders will have skills (only on High Normals+), which are used to not only enhance a card's level but also the chance of increasing the strength of a card's skill.
TIP: Only use Feeders with skills on other cards with skills to get the most out of enhancing cards.
Q: Now you must be wondering how do I obtain Feeders with skills?
A: These cards can be obtained from Quest Chapters 14+ (I could be off).
Feeders also be obtained via Friendship Card Packs(includes Normals, High Normals with skill, High normals without skill, and Rares) at the cost of 200 Friendship points a pack(excluding your free daily Card Pack)
Cards of Importance/Value towards Enhancing:
Angel Queen (Gods Rare) - Provides 3 levels to the enhanced card regardless of the current enhanced card's level or rarity.
Devil Queen (Demon Rare) - Provides a 50% chance to increase a card's skill. (along with a relatively small boost to maturity)
