When you see card combos like that, the first number represents how many cards you're using. The second number represents how many evolutions you max. So 4-6 means you used 4 cards and maxed 6 times before it became it's final form.

Ok it takes any where from 4 to 8 base cards to reach final form. just do the easy one (4 card).
max all 4 base cards, then evolve two of the base cards to +, then max the plus. (ur at 5 far) evolve the + with one of the base cards for a ++, them max that (now ur at 6) finish up and u be at a 4-6
a perfect final form is 14 max evolution's (not counting the max on the final it self) using 8 cards maxing and evolving to 4 + cards, maxing and evolving to 2 ++ cards and finishing.

i dont mean just do the easy one. i meant to say, lets just use the easy one for an example. by all means time, rupies and cards permitting go for the perfect final form.

The first number is number of bases of a card u use. Minimum is 4. A 4-1 evo uses 4 cards. Second number is total card used. So a 6-11 evo is 6 base cards.. 11 total cards. See below.
Base+ base= card+ Card+ (+) base= card++ Card++ (+) base= final form (ff)
A 6-11 evo Base+base= card+ Base+ card+= card++
Base+base= card+ Card+(plus) base= card++
Card++ (+) card++= final form (ff)
I'f u count, 6 bases and 11 total cards.
The max u can do is 8-15. Here's what it looks like . Many other evo lines in between.
B B B B B B B B \/ \/ \/ \/ + + + + \ / \ / ++ ++ \ / Final form

Sorry didn't space.. Base (+) base = + Base (+) base = + Base (+) base = + Base (+) base = +
+ (+) + = ++ + (+) + = ++
++ (+) ++ = FF
8 base , 4+, 2++, 1ff = 8(base)-15 (total maxed)

And I made mistake. Second number is number of cards maxed in the evo. No such as a #-2 like 6-2. That would be a waste. A 6-3 is six bases and three maxed cards. Say bases and +s aren't maxed. But both++s and f2f are maxed. That's what the evo numbers mean. Tip: generally 6-11s are best. They have 99.3% or so of an 8-15 line.. I only use 8-15s for x legends lol..
